Meet The Team

We wouldn't be able to help our thousands of members across the UK to socialise and connect with new friends without our fantastic team. So here's a little bit about the CS squad and what they like to do when they're not working!

Sanchita: CEO & Founder

I'm the CitySocialiser who set up the network (with a little help from my friends). I love the vibrancy of city life and, apart from London, my favourite cities include Manchester, Brighton, Berlin and Barcelona! When I'm not behind my PC I love nothing more than sitting in the sunshine with friends and a cold pint (or glass of vino if I'm feeling sophisticated) and watching the world go by.
Jonny: Managing Editor (UK North)

I'm based in Manchester and love the fact that there is so much going on in the city. Living in the centre with everything just 20 minutes walk away, means that I take full advantage of all the great restaurants, bars, music, art and culture on offer! I'm into music, movies and waste far too much of my life on my Xbox360. (I also follow the England Cricket team and Stockport County FC - but I don't let that get me down too much!)
Karis: Senior Team Assistant

As a fan of Literature, Oxford has always been one of my favourite places in England. I love nights out in Cowley and chilled Sundays in Jericho, and have been known to pop over to Reading for a shopping spree or two in the Oracle. I've lived in London for three years but much prefer the more casual pace of life and the surrounding countryside that Oxfordshire and Berkshire have to offer!
Shariff: Tech Lead

I have a passion for everything related to the World Wide Web: the technology, the design and the silly memes. I am always up for a drink and enjoy trying new places to go out. I moved to London a few years ago and what I enjoy the most is its diversity - whatever food, music or activity you're into, you can find it in its authentic form.
Miles: Managing Editor (UK South)

I love the buzz of meeting new people which I developed whilst travelling the world on my own for a year (one of the best years of my life and full recommended!) I'm a big fan of live music gigs and have a real love of Hip Hop. For my sins I'm a Peterborough United fan (premiership here we come - in my dreams..)
Christian: Head of Online Marketing

"Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner..." and therefore slightly biased, but for me there's no other city quite like it. It's the diverse mix of people that live here, with their differing cultures and influences, that make it a fun and interesting place to live. The only time I find it slightly less fun is when my team, Crystal Palace lose, which happens quite lot unfortunately. Other passions of mine are cooking, although I'm no Ainsley Harriet and travelling, especially around South America.

I came to Edinburgh to study for my Masters, and since graduating haven't been able to leave! The stunning scenery, historic buildings and wonderful architecture grows on me every day. I love the 'small city feel' to it - all the benefits of a city, but you can still bump into an old friend on a night out. I love checking out old nooks and crannies of the city and an am amateur poet!

I moved to Bristol about 2 years ago and really love living here. It is such a vibrant city, packed with diverse and creative people who are the life-blood in its veins. There are always a million fantastic things to do and to be involved in - if only you have enough time to try them all!

I'm based up in Leeds and really love the variety that the city has to offer. I moved up here for work 5 years ago and still enjoy exploring all of the many different bars and restaurants. I'm partial to the odd cocktail or two and love travelling and always enjoy meeting new people who have fabulous tales from around the world to share!

Working freelance means the beauty of choosing where you live, I chose Leeds! Having moved here a year ago I am still getting to know the city but loving every minute of it. Exploring new places is one of my passions, especially places far far away and hot! I'm one of those people who enjoys watching the world go by from a busy bar or cafe with friends. Or if all else fails, I love food so anything food related is always a winner.

I have lived in Newcastle all of my life apart from a few years at Uni and love it, especially all of the bars, restaurants and shops. As a City it has everything you need without feeling too vast. I have a lot of hobbies including mini golf, bowling and the cinema and I try to eat out as much as I can which means, sadly, I have to go to the gym 3 times a week too.

Although I have lived in London a couple of years, I still get lost.. Hopefully I will never run out of new areas to explore and new restaurants to discover.

My favourite things include random touristy activities such as ghost tours and buses or comedy nights. I prefer it if the comedians are a bit rubbish as I think that makes the evening funnier! I’m always on the look out for cocktails that look so good you take can’t help take a photo and pubs with beautiful wallpaper...and of course meeting lots of friendly new people.
