If you've registered with us but haven't yet been to a Social, or perhaps you've been to a couple but would like to find out more, we'd like to invite you to attend our New Members' evening where you can come along and have a chat and meet some of our other newbies for a drink or two in a relaxed, friendly environment.
The first meet up is always the most nerve-wracking but once you've been to one, as any regular will tell you, it becomes second nature.

We've got an area at Circus Circus reserved exclusively for us, that occupies a funky building in Brighton just off Preston Circus.

Capturing the diversity of Brighton at its best, Circus Circus a lively and vibrant restaurant and bar that is always bustling with life. The decor is stylish and modern providing a great backdrop for our evening of laid-back drinks and CitySocialising!

One of our CitySocialising Hosts, will be on hand during the evening to welcome you when you arrive, settle you in to the night and answer any questions you might have about the site and service but really it's just a great opportunity to take the plunge and start getting social with us!

And to add to the evening CS hjave negotiated an Exclusive £1 off Fosters/Becks Vier or House Red/White and Rose for the night!

The evening will most certainly help to assure you that the people we attract are as laid-back, chatty, friendly and sociable as we say they are.

This is the perfect opportunity to kick-start your social life so we look forward to seeing you there!

Please do not book your place unless you are a new member or a 'first or second timer' and can definitely attend as space for this Social is limited.

We'd love you to join us and meet a great new crowd in your city. And don't worry if you're the first to book, just:
RSVP to confirm if you are coming (if this is your first social please read the Regular Social Notes below) and then:

* post a message on the Comments board to introduce yourself and chat to your fellow guests (you will receive an email each time your host posts something here)

* check the guestlist to see who else is coming and drop your host and everyone else a message to say hi

* After the Social go to "My Social Diary" and, from your "Past Socials" section, earn points for free gifts and membership upgrades by rating and reviewing the day/night and uploading and sharing photos and videos with your fellow guests!

* And of course remember to add the profiles of the people you got on with to your Friends List to keep in touch and invite them to other Socials you attend.

Regular Socials Notes:

Money:
Unless otherwise indicated, for all Socials you will be expected to cover your own costs, so please ensure that you bring enough cash to cover e.g. your own ticket/entry price, food, drinks, relative service charge etc.

For food Socials one bill is usually provided for the table. Therefore, make sure you keep note of what food and drinks you order and how much it costs as the group will be expected to split the bill fairly at the end of the meal.

What to wear:
Feel free to wear what you want but, if in doubt, double-check with the venue before you attend a Social. Some clubs, for example, won't allow scruffy clothes, and for Outdoor Socials remember to wear appropriate clothing and bring waterproofs in case of rain.
