We'll have an area reserved for us at Pitcher & Piano, where a host will be waiting to welcome you when you arrive and settle you in to the Social. (Make sure you check here before the Social to see who is hosting)
Keep your eyes peeled for a CitySocialising logo on the table or ask the venue staff for the table reserved under the name CitySocialising.

We'll meet at The Pitcher & Piano, where CS members get 20% off food and drinks, when we'll have plenty of time to have some great food and meet each other.. At 2pm our Fun Fantastical Hunt begins!

The Hunt has been designed to lead you around Brighton in search of buildings and objects, gathering information and putting your creativity to the test. You might have go in search of graffiti or a famous dj or even take a visit to the Prince Regent’s stables. Your hunt will take you to the 2 main cultural areas in Brighton. The North Laines and The South Lanes.

The hunt will consists of 2 sections, a mix of cryptic and general knowledge questions as well as a photo and scavenge hunt.

Our treasure hunt will start at 2 at The Town Hall, Bartholomew Sq where we divided up the teams and team captains will be chosen for each team. You will then receive your hunt packs that will have everything you will need to complete your treasure hunt. Questions and clues, a map, rules and guides, pens and paper etc. As the hunt takes over 2 hours we like to ensure that all teams gets a well earned break and have arrange a designated pub for refreshment along the way.

All teams meet back at the arrange pub where you had your refreshments earlier in the day and the scores are totted up and a certificate awarded to the winning team. And for those that didn’t do so well there is also a prize.

Lunch, Treasure and Brighton, a great way to spend a Sunday!

The Hunt normally costs £18 but we have a specially reduced CS rate of £15 per person payable on the day..

We'd love you to join us and meet a great new crowd in your city. And don't worry if you're the first to book, just:
RSVP to confirm if you are coming (if this is your first social please read the Regular Social Notes below) and then:

* post a message on the Comments board to introduce yourself and chat to your fellow guests (you will receive an email each time your host posts something here)

* check the guestlist to see who else is coming and drop your host and everyone else a message to say hi

* After the Social go to "My Social Diary" and, from your "Past Socials" section, earn points for free gifts and membership upgrades by rating and reviewing the day/night and uploading and sharing photos and videos with your fellow guests!

* And of course remember to add the profiles of the people you got on with to your Friends List to keep in touch and invite them to other Socials you attend.

Regular Socials Notes:

Money:
Unless otherwise indicated, for all Socials you will be expected to cover your own costs, so please ensure that you bring enough cash to cover e.g. your own ticket/entry price, food, drinks, relative service charge etc.

For food Socials one bill is usually provided for the table. Therefore, make sure you keep note of what food and drinks you order and how much it costs as the group will be expected to split the bill fairly at the end of the meal.

What to wear:
Feel free to wear what you want but, if in doubt, double-check with the venue before you attend a Social. Some clubs, for example, won't allow scruffy clothes, and for Outdoor Socials remember to wear appropriate clothing and bring waterproofs in case of rain.

Cancellations:
If, the day before this Social is due to take place, less than 6 members are available to attend, this Social will be cancelled. CitySocialising HQ will notify you by phone or email and update the information here. Therefore, please ensure you've entered your correct mobile number in your Profile. This is strictly confidential and used only in emergencies by CS staff.
