Ours is a really down-to-earth, friendly and sociable crowd, and a mix of brand new and regular members, so you'll feel at home in no time. Plus, each Social is hosted by a fellow CitySocialiser who will welcome you when you arrive and help put you at ease.
If you've registered with us but haven't yet been to a Social, or perhaps you've been to a couple but would like to find out more, we'd like to invite you to attend our New Members' evening where you can come along and have a chat and meet some of our other newbies for a drink or two in a relaxed, friendly environment.
The first meet up is always the most nerve-wracking but once you’ve been to one, as any regular will tell you, it becomes second nature.
We've got an area at XXXXX bar (full details available to view upon booking) reserved exclusively for us, that occupies a beautiful spacious building in the centre of Brighton.
Capturing the diversity of Brighton at its best, XXXXX offers a mixture of fresh cocktails, and an extensive range of wines and beers. The decor is stylish and modern providing a great backdrop for our evening of laid-back drinks and CitySocialising!
One of our hosts will be on hand during the evening to welcome you when you arrive, settle you in to the night and answer any questions you might have about the site and service but really it's just a great opportunity to take the plunge and start getting social with us!
The evening will most certainly help to assure you that the people we attract are as laid-back, chatty, friendly and sociable as we say they are.

The weekend has landed! Come and join us for some Friday night drinks and laid back CitySocialising as we head to XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking) Brighton's colourful, vibrant Latin bar, where we can relax and socialise and get to know a new Brighton crowd.
With side sofas and warm hues creating a comfortable surrounding, an extensive cocktail menu and wide range of beers, and intoxicating Latin rhythms to enjoy, XXXXX makes a perfect place for our Friday night out!
And if you're coming straight from work or if the cocktails make you peckish we can order some tasty tapas in the bar, where the food is an exciting fusion of Latin American, Indian, Spanish, Portuguese and African influences. Dishes on offer (£4 - £5.50) include Brazilian cod, potato and parsley fritters with hot chilli salsa, deep fried baby squid with fresh garlic and chilli aioli.

Here at CitySocialising Brighton, we would like to introduce you to a new monthly Social that will give you the opportunity to see the best, brightest and eagerly awaited movies of the current season at The Duke Of York Picturehouse!
Opened in 1910, The Duke Of York Picture House is grade II listed building and is the oldest continuously operating cinema in Britain.
CS Cinema Saturday and Sunday's will offer you the latest releases, hyped up feature films and the best in re-released art-house classics all finished with a trip to a local watering hole to have a few drinks and discuss what we have just watched and what we all thought of it.
The first CS Cinema Sunday will feature The Boy In The Striped Pajamas - Adapted from John Boyne's bestselling novel, this is a fictional story that offers a unique and powerful perspective on how prejudice, hatred and violence affect innocent people during wartime. Told through the eyes of an eight-year-old German boy shielded from the reality of World War II, this unforgettable tale follows an unlikely friendship that forms between Bruno (Asa Butterfield), the son of a Nazi commandant, and Shmuel (Jack Scanlon), a Jewish boy held captive in a concentration camp.
Though a barbed-wire fence physically separates the two, their friendship grows and their lives become inescapably and tragically entwined. This is an enlightening, sobering and informative work for all generations of filmgoers.
We will be meeting for a pre-movie drink and food (optional) at XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking) where one of our hosts will be to welcome you and settle you into the afternoon. At XXXXX they serve a menu of Thai food. We'll head to the The Duke Of York Picture House for the late afternoon screening at 4pm.
And once the movie finishes, we'll be free to visit another pub in the nearby area to continue with a couple more drinks, chat and laid-back socialising.

Join us this Autumn on CitySocialising's Great Brighton World Food Tour! Its the perfect time to really begin to explore the culinary delights that our great city by the sea has to offer, and take part in more CitySocialising nights out.
The idea for The Great Brighton World Food Tour is to take full advantage of our city's mix of great ethnic cuisine and head out to a number of the top restaurants and partake in the food they serve from all over the globe, visiting Japanese, French, Spanish, Brazilian, Chinese, Indian, African, Lebanese and as many other outposts of this planet that we can find to let our tastebuds explore!
It may be foods you know, it may be foods that you have been wanting to try and have never had the opportunity, the only requirement is a passion for food, an inquisitive nature and a huge desire to have a great time!
For our next stop on the World Food Tour, we're hitting the Wild West at Brighton’s premier Tex-Mex Diner and Bar, A Dig In The Ribs!
A Dig In The Ribs is an independant, large, friendly, bustling place with a tongue in cheek ‘Wild West’ feel. Since 1982 they have been serving up the finest Tex-Mex food and is renowned in Brighton for its consistently good quality and value, in a fun atmosphere where the service can’t be beaten!
The tasty menu offers starters (from £4.25) such as Nachos - a finger pickin' plate of Totilla Chips, piled high with Peppers, Beans, Salsa and melted Cheeses, topped with Sour Cream and Guacamole, and Vegetarian Tostada's - a Crisp Corn Totilla covered with Refried Beans and heaped with Mexican Cheeses, Salsa, crunchy Salad and Sour Cream.
